Viticulture & Origin
Grape varieties: Tempranillo, Mazuelo.
Grapes sourced from the La Rioja region, Spain.
A blend of Tempranillo and Mazuelo, expressing the classic style of Olarra.

Vinification
Skin contact and alcoholic fermentation were intentionally limited to 17 days at 28 °C in order to preserve the wine’s freshness, vibrancy, and elegance.
The fermentation was completed without grape skins. Malolactic fermentation took place in new Allier oak barrels.

Ageing
The aging process began with 12 months in new oak barrels from Allier (40%) and Missouri (60%).
The wine was then transferred to older barrels (over 6 years old), where it matured for a further 14 months, allowing primary and secondary aromas to harmonize and the tertiary aging notes to develop in balance.

Tasting Profile
Color: Bright, deep ruby red with brick-red reflections.
Nose: Ripe black and red fruits accompanied by spicy notes.
Palate: The fruit aromas continue clearly on the palate, complemented by smoky and balsamic nuances. Silky and elegant mouthfeel, very round, with remarkable length and a persistent finish.
